Here are some examples of commercial work. Every commercial project I shoot, has slightly different requirements. Pricing will range from an hourly rate (if only an hour or two, it would be based on $90 per hour), to a half-day/full-day rate ($300 for 1/2 day, $500 for full day), to a per shot delivered rate ($50 per shot delivered). It just depends on the how long the shoot is, where the shoot is, and whether it is a one time shoot vs. an on-going project. Just because you have a friend with a point and shoot camera who said they will make you a deal, doesn't mean it's always the best choice.
